Ofsted is more for schools and publicly funded colleges.

This contains an assessment strategy which you will training centres need to follow and also have quality arrangements in place which you must adhere to. When you carry out your practical assessments, you will be collecting personal data of your learners. We also have the Health and Safety at Work Act which means you need ensure any training and assessments are carried out in a safe manner ensuring risk assessments have been completed and that there is access to first aid kits, a first aid trainer or even ensuring that equipment used is safe and the building meets legislative requirements. It will all vary depending upon what you assess and where you assess.
Lastly you may need to be aware of company policies and procedures so this could be the training provider that you work for or the employer in which you are carrying out their assessments. Let’s say you need access to a secure room, you may need to be granted security access, you may need access to computers therefore IT access may be needed, or you may have company policies on Covid-19 which may dictate how many learners you could assess in any one time.
