why choose the level 3 award in understanding the principles and practices of assessment

Why choose the Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment?

The Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (UPPA) is the most basic assessing course which does not qualify you as an assessor but gives you the knowledge to understand the assessment practice and compliments any teaching qualification and in particular the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

The Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment is assessed via one unit which is a theory-based unit learning the principles and practices of assessment. If you need to be qualified to become an assessor, this course is not for you but the one module you must complete must also be completed for any other assessor course so it is beneficial if assessing is the route you plan on going down later on.

This course takes approximately 2-3 days to complete fully.
