Description
The course can be completed via any of the following routes:
Classroom training – 2 days with assignments to be completed at your own pace
Virtual learning – 2 days with assignments to be completed at your own pace
Self-Study of approximately 90 hours, again, at your own pace.
The above timings are dependent on the level of existing knowledge and additional research you complete, but typically take 90 hours to complete. However, you could condense your study into a matter of weeks, or equally spread over months according to your availability and other personal commitments.
Providing you have internet connection, you can access all online elements of the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice from any device for a year, free of charge.
Successfully completing the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice qualifies you immediately for the role of an IQA.
This course is divided into two modules, both of which must be completed:
Once you have completed the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice you will be able to understand:
This course is assessed through one essay and evidence of the trainee IQA monitoring a minimum of two assessors, each with two learners themselves, through components of a qualification.
Should you not meet the required standard within the essay element, you will receive feedback from your tutor. You may then utilise this feedback to assist your resubmission. Whilst most trainees then go on to pass on a second submission, there is no limit to the number of attempts you can make.
Following your course induction, an assigned tutor will be available to you throughout the course, by phone, email or within your study groups.
You will also have online access to the full Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice course content, regardless of which method of training you choose.
This eLearning package is free of charge, and is accessible 24/7. You will find course webinars, PowerPoint presentation content, course handouts and notes, and a personalised study plan.
Our courses are all covered by a 14-day guarantee. So, if for any reason, you decide the course is not for you at this time, you may cancel without penalty or any additional administration fees.
We find this is particularly useful for those who initially opt for self-study but then choose to upgrade to a virtual or classroom learning environment. Of course, we will offer further guidance to enable you to make an informed decision.
